Baton Rouge Soccer Association will once again host Soccer Camps during the 2008 summer. The camp in it's 8th year, has become increasingly popular with over 700 kids attending camp in 2007. Don't miss out on all the FUN!!

Our Adult Coed Season Registration for summer will start April 27th.
Gaems will be played, O30 Coed Tuesdays and Thursdays. Open Coed games will be Monday/Wednesday and some Friday evenings.Gakes times 6:30pm
New Team Registration due in the office with $100.00 Bond, no later then May 16th.
Late Fee for returning players is $10.00 after May 25th.
League games will start on June 2nd.
COACHES MAKE SURE AND POST YOUR CONFLICTS ON THE ROSTERS before we make the schedules.

The Baton Rouge Capitals will launch a new soccer radio talk show Saturday mornings 9:00am-9:30 on espn radio am 1300.
Tune in and listen to all of the soccer talk in Baton Rouge and Louisiana.
The first show will feature former BRSA Player and Herman Trophy winner Jason Garey.

BRSA was recently awarded the 2010 region 3 soccer championships. The tournament will bring in 184 of the top U14-U19 teams in the region to Baton Rouge

The Baton Rouge Soccer Association was just awarded $50,000 by the US Youth Soccer Foundation to help put lights at the new Burbank Soccer facility. A special thank you to Andrea Neighbors and Andy Kopplin on writing the grant.

The U16 BRSC Girls finished undefeated in Region Premier League play against the State Champions and Finalists from LA, MS, AL, AR, and TN. By winnning the league, the girls have secured a spot in the 2008 Southern Regionals in Raleigh, NC this summer.

The Soccer Referee’s Association of Baton Rouge will conduct an Entry-level Referee clinic in April. The clinic will be held at a location to be announced, on the weekend of April 5.

The Advance Regional Diploma is a 21-hour course designed as a supplement to the regional Diploma, adding eight hours devoted to technical and tactical use of small-sided games, the study os systems of play and a practice teaching component.

The Regional Diploma is a 13-hour course designed for the coach working players 11 to 18 years of age. An emphasis is placed on learning to work with the developing player within both an individual and team concept.
