Great news for all volunteer coaches to start the new year -- you may qualify for a $500 tax benefit just for volunteering to coach! Due to BRSA's Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with BREC, all coaches who complete the required documentation and volunteer at least 30 hours in a year should qualify for the benefit.

Coaches may choose to keep monthly timesheets or use the year-at-a-glance timesheet in order to track their time (both documents are available on the right side of the page).  Volunteers who record and submit their information by December 2012 should receive their tax credit by January 30th, 2013.

The documents should be submitted to the BRSA office no later than December 15th, 2012 so that they may be processed by BRSA and BREC prior to the deadline.
