General Information
The Baton Rouge Soccer Association (BRSA) conducts the Special Forces Adult Coed Tournament for adult teams registered with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). Special Forces is sanctioned through the Louisiana Soccer Association (LSA) and is for coed open and coed O-30 teams.
Entry Requirements
Teams wishing to enter Special Forces must register online. Registration is $300
per team and the registration deadline is July 13th.
All players participating (including guests) must be registered within a USASA-sanctioned league since September 1, 2010.
A player may play for only one open team and one O-30 team in the tournament. Team rosters are limited to twenty-two (22) players. Five (5) guest players and three (3) transferred players are allowed to help fill out your roster. O-30 players must be 30 years of age by July 24, 2011.
Team Check-in
Teams will check-in at the host hotel, Holiday Inn South, on Friday, July 22nd, between 7 PM - 10 PM. During check-in, all teams must present:
* A finalized team roster with player ID numbers listed for each player
* Valid USASA picture ID cards to match their roster for every player (including guests)
* Teams from outside of Louisiana must also furnish a Travel Permit from their association
Game Information
All teams will be scheduled to play at least three games in an 11v11 format. Depending on the number of teams in a division, bracket play followed by finals or a round-robin format will be scheduled. Every effort will be made to form competitive and fair divisions; however the Tournament Director reserves the right to move a team up or down from its requested division if needed. Games will be played at BREC’s Burbank Soccer Complex. A 10-point scoring system will be used.
FIFA Laws of the Game will apply except as amended in the Playing Rules.
